4K video processing PCB design supporting 12Gbps high-speed transmission is a key technical support for high-definition video monitoring, video broadcasting and professional image processing equipment. 12Gbps high-bandwidth signal transmission puts forward strict requirements on PCB high-speed signal integrity, impedance control and anti-interference performance. Compared with ordinary low-speed PCBs, this design needs to solve core problems such as signal attenuation, crosstalk, delay deviation and electromagnetic interference in ultra-high-speed transmission to ensure lossless and stable transmission of 4K ultra-high-definition video data.
High-speed wiring and impedance matching are the core of the design. 12Gbps video signals belong to ultra-high-speed differential signals, which strictly require precise impedance control of 100Ω differential impedance. The PCB adopts high-performance low-loss dielectric materials with low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss to reduce high-frequency signal attenuation. Differential signal lines for video transmission follow equal-length, equal-spacing and parallel wiring specifications, with consistent line width and spacing throughout the whole process to avoid impedance mutation and signal delay difference, ensuring synchronous transmission of differential signals.
Crosstalk suppression and heat dissipation optimization guarantee long-term stable operation. A safe spacing is maintained between high-speed video signal lines and low-speed control lines, power lines to avoid crosstalk interference caused by high-frequency coupling. Isolation grounding holes are arranged densely around high-speed wiring to form a shielding isolation zone and suppress external electromagnetic interference. In addition, 4K video processing chips and high-speed transmission modules generate large heat during operation, so the PCB is designed with thermal vias and copper laying heat dissipation structures to accelerate heat conduction. Reasonable layer stackup design separates high-speed signal layers, power layers and ground layers, realizing collaborative optimization of signal integrity, heat dissipation and anti-interference performance for stable 12Gbps long-distance high-speed transmission of 4K video data.
